Aktuelle Wärmenetz-Themen im EU-Interreg-Projekt SAM: Optionen zur Umsetzung disruptiver Wärmenetz-Lösungen
Berlin liegt ganz am südlichen Rand. Zumindest wenn man die EU-Karte der “Baltic Sea Region” (BSR) liest. Aber eben auch noch drin im “Zuwendungsgebiet”. Und so haben wir uns mit starken und erfahrenen EU-Partnern in Potsdam beim EEN-Stabsbüro der WFBB treffen können. Im Ergebnis liegt nun ein gemeinsamer EU-Antrag aus dem Programm “Interreg” vor: Smart Asset Management for district heating distribution (SAM).
Zur Region Öresund unterhält unser Netzwerk bereits seit vielen Jahren sehr gute und belastbare Kontakte, hat an mehreren gemeinsamen Projekten wie etwa “mobile vikings” unter der Leitung der Vinnova Stockholm teilgenommen und speziell im Clusterwesen tolle Projekte mit den Managern Philipp Stankowski und Micael Gustavsson initiieren können.
Dank der guten EEN-Vorbereitung liegt nun ein neuer EU-Antrag zur Bewilligung vor. Inhalte sind (Auszug aus dem Original-Text):
The EU faces a big challenge in achieving the Europe2020 goals (both increase in energy efficiency by 20 %, but also the decrease of CO -emissions. Another problem is the dependency on coal and gas from Russia. The Energy Union and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have already stressed the importance of urgency when working with energy efficiency efforts (as described in the Paris Protocol).
Even though we face big future challenges, there are several potential fields of improvement when working with the purposed pillars of the Energy Union and the Europe2020 goals.
DH is an integration tool for Smart and Sustainable Cities. A challenge is to make DH more efficient, with higher utilization, thus more competitive to supply secure, clean and affordable heating. DH can phase out fossil fuel usage for space heating and tap warm water.
The Baltic Region has an opportunity to become the leader in efficient energy utility management and the international cooperation will enable the dialogue of an integrated energy supply system which has proven to be very essential when working with energy security and diversification of fuel sources to reduce the risks and price fluctuations on the energy market in the EU. Even though new technology is essential for this process, working with efficient use of assets and infrastructure will be at least as decisive when allocating existing capital for future investments and new technologies.
Unser Netzwerk und seine Mitglieder verfügen über starke Innovationen in diesem Kompetenzfeld und können folgende Schwerpunkte einbringen:
Data Driven Predictive Maintenance adoption to promote energy efficiency through ICT-based systems
The aim is to implement the experiences from the project from a practical perspective. The work package focuses on the implementation of ICT-based systems implemented for energy efficiency by using tools to enhance the DH-operators capacity. This is achieved by:
1. Mapping the required generic system integrations for SAM and listing organizational requirements for SAM.
2. Conducting discussions with external stakeholders to create work processes and collaboration models that are adaptable and agile in their approach to meet end-customer demands.
3. Implementing fully developed demonstrators that are monitored and evaluated.
4. Creating data analysis algorithms with integration to actual condition of the network.
5. Developing Digitalized Decision Support Guidelines.
By implementing this, the project will be able to prove the viability of the long term strategy in order to promote energy efficiency through ICT-based systems.
Die Umsetzung soll in Quartieren der Hauptstadtregion stattfinden. Die “Urbane Wärmewende” ist schließlich auch wichtiges Thema in unserer Region. Hauptakteure sind unsere Netzwerkmitglieder, die hier Demonstrations-Vorhaben mit disruptiven Inhalten testen und dann im gesamten BSR-Gebiet einmal rund um die Ostsee ausrollen.
Partner zur Umsetzung in der Hauptstadtregion sind bereits gefunden. Vorhandene, bereits gut bewirtschaftete und über Wärmenetze versorgte Quartiere sind identifiziert und sollen zu High-End-Quartieren mit weltweit einmaligen Merkmalen ausgebaut werden, damit in unserer Region vorzeigbare Lösungen live und am offenen Herzen valide Ergebnisse produzieren, die uns wiederum hohe Aufmerksamkeit bringen sollen.
Die Förderung beträgt 75% und beinhaltet auch Investitionen in innovative Hardware.
